Tips from Brad:
- Remember, past customers are future marketers. Once the relationship is established, build on it and additional relationships will develop.
- Know who your customers are. This may include multiple facets - current clients, vendors, other organizations, employees, etc.
- Don't allow high-level thinking stop you from converting vision into specific tasks. The execution of the details will bring high-level opportunities.
- Develop a culture of discipline and execution early on. Reversing a culture is much more difficult than working at if from the beginning.
- Stay focused on your core competency and outsource as needed. Use the professionals that will get things done right the first time.
- Take some risks - and be ready for the rewards.
